Grey Heron

After enduring a morning with the in laws it was welcome to get out and enjoy the sun at one of my favourite local wildlife spots Meresands Wood. It was very quite bird wise and even a hardened birder I know was at a loss to know why. I went hope to see the kingfish but his best mate heron had to do. It's at the long end of my telephoto so not as sharp as I wanted.
