Autumn Shades

Today was a beautiful autumn day. Lovely & bright. I took my camera up to the Clee Hill hoping to get some nice pictures with shadows this afternoon but the light was quite hazy by this time. You can see a few here.

So I tried again at home. Most of the leaves have dropped from the silver birches now, but the stems are attractive on their own.

There was also this one taken out of the upstairs window, south facing, giving a few nice shadows on the lawn and in the distance you can see that the cider apples are being collected. No cows in the field until that is finished.
