Storm Season at Annie's Cottage
The wind has blown, the rain has fallen, brief, but dramatic storm today
When the rocks are wet, they're beautiful, lots of fallen leaves and flowers
Sigh, so many shots to choose from today
Paused to lean out of an upstairs window at the Cottage. The light through the clouds, bright, but not too, so it was pleasant
The stone work that Paul did a few years ago, drying in this great pattern after the rains; the paths, inviting, the drought resistant garden (because contrary to popular opinion, we do have long spells with no rain during most summers) filling in now and looking well; the holly tree looking nice in this light. It's difficult to get this shot with my little camera. I'll return to the waterfall another day.
For the sentimental among you, a little treck back to yesterdays blip and you can read what Paul wrote almost at the end of the comments. He is PaulCCB, what a sweetie, this guy! (hasn't posted any photos so far...)
