ROOM WITH A VIEW NO. 3
Sorry to take down the first one but it was the wrong one.
I'm not going to complain that there was thunder and lightning all night because too many blippers like a "good storm." (I suspect rarity value.) I am so used to them that I can sleep through the thunder unless the storm is so low and violent that the cracks of thunder rattle the roof tiles. Or, as last night, unless a vibrating Doberman lands on the bed quaking with fear.
I won't even complain that there were 9 cm (3 1/2 inches) of rain between midnight and 7 in the morning and that it is still hammering down. Himself is the only person in the neighbourhood to own a rain gauge so the phone rings with the question,"How much? That's how I know how much there was.
What I will complain about, bitterly, is that the olive harvest was to start today and my plan was to continue the olive harvest series with a picture of pickers.
So this is the view from the bedroom window. The view vanished in a wall of cloud the next picture after this one. It is straight from the camera and was shot from a slight angle on account of the amount of dog on the floor.
