Frosted Flower
Today I was up early and today we had a wonderful sharp frost...oh dear.
From the kitchen window I could see Henry's lovely little calendula flowers which he'd grown from seed and which I'd promised to photograph but never quite got around to actually doing it. They all had frostbite...oops.
Henry was distinctly dischuffed with me so I promised I'd go out...in my PJs, and record their demise for posterity then and there. Having served my chilly penance he decided I was forgiven so that's all right then.
So here I offer you, a little worse for wear but very pretty in a sad sort of way, one of Henry's hypothermic calendula flowers.
