Gold on grey

Wasn't feeling very inspired in the bitter chill of the northern wind this morning but saw this staring up at me from the pavement on my walk home. Perfect! More or less anyway.

No half-term for me... going on holiday next week so I'm starting work on my materials in advance. Or that's the plan!
