Axes and Apes

Opah took the boys to GO APE in Grizedale today. Luckily it was a glorious day - last time they tried to go it was cancelled due to a thunderstorm. I tried and tried to get a picture of them - 2 blondies and an oldie, but they are fuzzy and dark. There is one where Callum looked a bit like Spiderman. But only a little...

This picture, however, presented itself nicely. Whilst waiting the hours it took Callum and Liam to complete the course we got very well aquainted with the 'Giant Axe Man' who alongside an Ape, guards it. Anyway, Rory decided to sit on the Axe and well, the rest was just point and click.

Todays rejects also included a nice shadow picture, Farrah shushing a dog, Some wizzy blurry ones of stone throwing and some of the amazing views. Funnt how I always return to the kids looking sweet....

Grandad's funeral tomorrow. I had to dig the iron out of the garage. I also tried to explain to Rory, who asked if Grandad would be in a box. Who knows why I hadn't predicted that question....
