More ceramics

I can't believe that (after forgetting my camera, a week of training for work & a week of half term) it has been 4 weeks since my last pottery class blip.

This is that start of my third sculpture of this design. I wanted to base some work on Maori carvings & found this design http://maori-tattoo-designs-maori-tattoos.blogspot.com/2007/11/maori-carvings.html

I've cut out the pieces & bevelled some of the edges. The 'backbone' piece goes down one side & then the edges of the two side pieces join at the bevelled edge so the finished article is a triangular shape. I've assembled the pieces together & next week I hope to make a start on the pattern on the outside.
