Familiar kitchen lines

You may think that we have a racoon rather than a cat. Or perhaps a lemur. I like Whisky's lines - they are an announcement when I'm in bed and I can see only the top half of the tail (the rest of the cat being below the mattress height) coming closer, heralding the imminent arrival of a cat hat.

In the morning, Whisky likes to pause on this kitchen rug. He then rolls onto his back, simply to look cute, in an enthusiastic effort to get fed. If I happen to stop and try to scratch his stomach, it spoils the whole drama because really I should be sorting out the cat breakfast.


Today has been a day of good news for good friends. Lots of smiles - hooray!!
