I Must Go Down to the Seas Again

First time off the croft for a few days. Drove a couple of miles to the village shop and bought date scones and chocolate. Then I went down to the shore, and thought of John Masefield's poem. I do like Spike Milligan's version though:

I must go down to the sea again,
to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there -
I wonder if they're dry?
