Applique Practice

My first ever attempt at applique, in preparation for making my niece a bag for her 2nd birthday. It took ages to do the blanket stitch around the edge by hand! I'm far too dependent on my sewing machine.

I think I'm happy with the fabrics though - very pink :-)
