turd... meet polish

today was mostly about incessant rain, so i kept my phone in the comparative dryness of my pocket while out and about.

once safely 'on dry land' again at home, i realised i needed a blip for the day, so snapped our new kettle which, excitingly, glows neon blue while boiling.

unfortunately -even by my standards- it was a boring photo, so i've been twiddling with it for a few mins, to try and drag something half-decent out of it.

i think i should quit now, while i'm ahead!
