Day of the Triffids must have one of the best opening lines of all:
'When a day that you happen to know is Wednesday starts off sounding like Sunday, there is something seriously wrong somewhere.'
I hope tomorrow sounds like Wednesday. Otherwise I'm staying in bed til it does.
