Art at the Dentist's...

...carved by another dentist. I dropped C off for her dental appointment today and went shopping for lights for the basement. C had told me about this beautiful Salmon Woman sculpture at the entrance to her dentist's office, so I went in to see it after I finished my shopping. It was carved by my very talented friend Mike, a retired dentist, and the father of C's dentist.

Mike recently completed a major restoration of the Salmon Woman totem in Maritime Heritage Park. The project required over 100 hours of labor, and Mike also donated much of the material cost.
