Breakfast Kettles

My first entry ...

Taken as the sun rose in Zurich, on my way to work. I had just travelled on two trams, each full of quiet, serious Swiss. The location is at the edge of the city, and has an interesting contrast of commerce and agriculture - the field in front of the shot was full of maize until two weeks before when it was harvested.

The chimneys are of power stations, at least one powered by refuse, generating the electricity for all those kettles and toasters (and trams) as people prepare for the day ahead.
