Volcano

Did make it onto the water as wanted - even if it was on a ferry on a harbour cruise!!

Headed to Rangitoto Island, probably the most recognisable to Auckland's volcanoes and the cloud overhead made for a potentially "eruptive" sight.

Had 1 hour 45 minutes between ferries for the 1 hour climb to the summit, so in true tourist style route-marched up, took photos and jogged back down - been there, done that (although no t-shirts for sale).

Time to move on now - Hamilton tomorrow.
