The Cobb at Lyme Regis

There must be hundreds of thousands of photographs taken of this historic breakwater but I was trying to be a bit different. From the park overlooking the Cobb I could see various figures silhouetted against the afternoon sun. The people here look like they are gazing towards the horizon and as far as they can see there is nothing but sea and sky.

It was one of those great autumn afternoons with lovely seaside light. I would have liked to wait until later but that wasn't possible.
