My unforgivable absense is due to a dead hard drive (pictured), now yes I could have sent it away, to have it's heart replaced and have paid a 100 buck-a-roonies for the pleasure, but no, thanks to the web and some oh so helpful chaps, I clenched my cheeks and cracked open the chest of my mac, guts and all....it was tricky and bloody .....but the machines lives, it was actually the software that was tricky ......but that's v boring
