Dark Eyed Junco

Three or four of these frenetic little fellows were flitting around the suet cage in yesterday's storm. I didn't recognize them but RS identified them today. According to our bird book they're colloquially called "snowbirds" because of their habit of showing up at feeders in stormy weather.

Note to self: Wash windows if it thaws this weekend. Outdoor picture taking wasn't really fun today and indoors pointing out would benefit from a cleaner window.

Sorry these are so pixelated.
