the story of how a canonite became a nikonite

fellow blipper rachel, a few other friends, & i pooled in to get another fellow blipper alice a nikon dslr for her 16th birthday, which is actually tomorrow. she's been using canon powershots forever, and even though i'm a canonite, i'm glad she's part of the dslr family now.

so this was ALL planned and a complete surprise to alice. we planned that she'd be hanging out with anthony, and sharon and i would arrive at alice's house before he drove her back home. we went into her house (we didn't break in, of course; her father let us in) and posted several clues around the house, starting from the front door, leading her to her upstairs bedroom where rachel & sharon would be hiding with the box which held the nikon d90!

and, well, this is her upon opening the box. ;)
