window to the world

The new window is in. Not really new, the frame came from the tip shop for $25 - a lot nicer and more water tight than the old aluminium frame. It would have stayed cheap but we decided to double glaze it and that was another $550 or so. Still, a brand new wooden window would have been thousands...
