It's good to talk.

As i walked into town today i decided to say hello to as many people as possible. Normally in the space of a day you can pass several people with an uncomfortable silence. I was surprised with the result. A lot of people avoided all eye contact until i greeted them. However once the ice was broken they soon cheerfully responded. This time of year can bring out the best in people but it would be nice to carry this feeling on throughout the year.
