New Brits Mall

Brits is the closest big town to Hartbeespoort! Although we find it easy to go to Pretoria and Johannesburg for certain shops that we don't have in our little town, it is definitely much more convenient to have a big shopping mall closer, Brits is just about 15km's from us!

This really big mall opened today! C and I took Lillian to Brits to catch her Taxi home for her week off duty, and we thought we'd pop in and see what this new addition to our region has to offer! But by golly, they built a humungous parking area, we thought they were silly when we saw it a while ago, but you guessed it, there was NO PARKING for a bicycle by 10:00 in the morning when we passed there to drop Lillian off! Cars were backed up for almost 4 km's to just turn into the lot, but hey, there were NO open parking left!

Needless to say, C and I dropped Lillian off and returned home! You must be crazy to go into a place like that on opening day! ;-0

I tried to get a good shot of the parked cars, but since we were on the opposite side of the double road, and the parking is somewhat lower than the road, this is the best I could get! Sorry guys!!
