Poison: Not to be taken

Not quite sure what it is for then? I seem to remember my Dad gave this to my wife as a present. Not quite sure what that means - but it is a curious wee bottle. I think it was my grandpa's - he was a doctor. Which is worrying. Anyway, it was empty, so I guess that makes it alright.
