La Chirurgie

I was on my way home from the last hope I retained to avoid the (11/18) scheduled repair to my torn rotator cuff - and I took a bunch of photos of walls/windows and the things I often do. But I looked down and noticed the splatted shape and the layers of spaces marked out on the street and shot that too. Somehow it best captures my day. Splat!

At the same time I am grateful there is an intervention and that my July 4 bike fall was no worse in terms of damage. I am organizing myself for a goodly long period with my non-dominant arm in the lead - have been practicing the last few weeks. My photos will depend on the non-shake feature, a tripod at times, and the ability to straighten photos in IPhoto - and patience. I am determined to keep up with my one a day. And I am blessed with a great helping husband.
