Mill Road, Portree

Mill road only has houses on the west side of the street. On the other side is a wooded bank dropping down to Loch Portree.

The distant view is the Folly on the Lump. with the autumn colour of Beech leaves. We have had severe gales today so many of the fading leaves have been stripped from the trees and only the sheltered ones remain.

Clare and I went for a long walk which we enoyed despite the weather. Here you can see Clare patiently waiting for me to take the photograph. Sometime her patience is sorely stretched.
