Poppy

This little poppy can be seen on a tree guard in the Library Square in Frome. There used to be four others, all made by local blacksmiths, but the trees have grown and the guards have gone. After 8 years, this one's lost much of its colour but it's still pretty, and seemed appropriate as this year's Poppy Appeal has just started.
