Sorting it out

Until now all my wool has been in carrier bags. I vaguely knew which bag was which, which was enough! Now I have masses of the the stuff - double knitting, 4 ply, 6 ply, chunky, cotton, silk - thanks to a kind friend who is downsizing her house and therefore her wool collection!

The floor of the tiny spare room was covered in bags and so this afternoon I had a good sort out. I sat on the floor, surrounded by it, and had all sorts of ideas of what I could knit with what and for whom. Must make a start with Christmas presents - unfortunately I foresee the knitted tie making a comeback in our family!
