All relative

A nice end to the week with a course out of the usual workplace. What made it even nicer was that it was just down the road which meant a long lie and no slog through the traffic. In some cities it's not unusual to have a 90 minute commute to the workplace; mine takes around 25 minutes in rush hour and if I ever have to tell people this they're horrified that I could possibly work so far away from home and how can I possibly cope? Calm down.

What was even nicer was the course was more interesting than the usual ones, there was lots of coffee and soup and sandwiches and oaty biscuits on tap and also I was home on the sofa by 3.30 and out on the bike looking at the rushing Water of Leith by 4.
