Lost Maples

I couldn't decide on a picture from our lost maples trip because so many of them turned out good, but I ended up choosing this one because I thought it encompassed the beauty of Lost Maples pretty well. The maple trees changing colors, losing leaves. The streams, revealing the reflections of hikers, clouds and foliage. The hills overlooking the Texas hill country (prettiest part of Texas in my opinion).
Our annual trip to Lost Maples is becoming a family tradition....now going on five years.
