Back to work to day home in the rain and the dark The wife had me out shopping tonight so this was the best ( and only) that I took ! Hope to get blipping better over the weekend

Wheelie bin etiquette

Our wheelie bins lined up all in a row!

We believe in a civil society

But only on Fridays should they make a show

As laid down by the rules of propriety



Etiquette dictates that they aren?t brought in late

And put out too early is bad

Put the back to the kerb and away from the gate

Block a driveway and the neighbours get mad!



To use someone else?s (if you want to stay friends)

Needs permission or a soft midnight slope?

?Help out a neighbour and that will send

A message of friendship and hope.



The colours are crucial ? refer to the charts

(Or checking with neighbours is best)

Blue is for paper, yellow for glass

And plastic ? leaves green for the rest



We consume stuff all week and we fill up our bins

Till they?re all overflowing with muck

Then early on Friday we sigh at the din

Of the gobbling great garbage truck.
