A day to rest, on the city

Two weeks plus one day vacation started today. Tommorrow we'll be leaving Lisbon for a road trip that will takes us to Spain.

But first an "interlude" day, without plans, to wander the streets, feeling the city and its people, and letting everything happen spontaneously.

After a flooding rain in the morning, we got lucky and the weather calmed down. We got out for a late lunch, followed by a walk around downtown with a visit to Starbucks. I decided to get my hair cut and then we headed to the Portuguese Cinematheque and watched an old french documentary ("Pays de Cocagne"). To close the day, a very satisfying dinner with friends.

A perfect vacation day.
