Birds Breakfast

As we were having cold nights etc, I hung our new Bird Feeder out, dutifully filled with peanuts, with shells. I then saw that the Bluetits etc. couldn't get to the nuts as the wire mesh is too small, so I shelled the nuts for them( Am I spoiling these birds?) Took ages!! Judging by the increased numbers feeding, it seems I did correctly.
