This is the bottom of our road, at the start of 8, 10 or 16 weeks of repairs to the drains, depending on which version of the plan you believe.

It is utterly, blissfully quiet, of course, and I will be sorry when they remove the barriers and let all those zillions of people drive up on their way to work.
