Volleyball - ELAC

Today was a great sports photography day at Long Beach City College. I happened upon men's water polo, followed by soccer, and finally women's volleyball. The lighting for water polo and soccer was outstanding, but the action shots were not as good as the light. Volleyball, which I have photographed for the past 15 years, produced much better action, but the lighting was no where near as good.

I had to decide, action or light? Action prevailed - here is my daughter playing some great defense in the first set of a four set win over East LA College.
