Thanksgiving

My mum came down from Inverness and today we went to Roslin Chapel. If you've never been, this is one of the famous Green Men. There's an array of things to see in there and every time I go in (and I've been a lot) I see things that I've not seen before, or see them in a different light.

My mum is here because today is thanksgiving. I know it's slightly incongruous to be celebrating it as a Scot in Scotland, but my girlfriend is American and we had a party. A very good party. Her family is here too and we had a load of friends around. Wine was drunk, food was eaten, people laughed, noone cried - happy days!
