Dandelion

A friend's husband died this week. They had only been married a few years...so, its making me think. I always just assumed that once I got married I'd be set. It never really occurred to me that the status could change at any point (including before I turn 80). You know? Single....AGAIN? After waiting so patiently the first time...!

I see good things for my friend. I cannot even imagine how difficult this is for her, and how challenging daily life will be for quite a while to come, but I see good for her future. Things will be better for her in the long run because of this. She will grow in ways she never even dreamed possible. It is still hard.
