Our home unclothed

Look at 23rd September and also 26the September and you'll see the deed has been done.

We'd made our mind up to take the Virginia Creeper down but last night confirmed that it had to be done earlier rather than later. Heavy rain resulted in a waterfall coming through a light fitting in our conservatory. Obviously the leaf-fall had created a blockage and a damn which then caused the water to move sideways under the tiles.

It WAS a hard job, and I'm now shattered. Towards the end I did begin to feel "unsafe" on the roof as tiredness began to creep in. I'm not going to do the clearing-up, that'll have to wait until another day. Ho! Hum!
