Hitchcock and Hallowe'en
Spent the afternoon fighting two large flatpacks and eventually winning. That Mr Allen must've made a fortune with his trusty keys, even if they are painful to twist.
Hallowe'en seems to have become very commercial. In the good old days you got dressed up, went round guising to the neighbours, recited a poem and were delighted with your loot which consisted mainly of monkey nuts and if you were lucky, some polos. And you were about nine.
It's all a bit glammed up now.
