Halloween

Frankenstein and The Wicked Witch (Uncle Jim and Aunty Gillian) invited us to their house yesterday for a Halloween Party. The kids had a great time but so did the adults. As you can see we played ?dooking for apples? although H&S only allowed us to play initially by dropping a fork into the basin but after a few jeers we managed to get the hostess to allow the kids to ?dook? properly. I did get a few pictures of this but they weren?t very clear so this is the best one which I have chosen.

We had lanterns that we set alight and floated away into the night sky too and the kids loved being out the back in the ?dark?.

All was well until the kids began to get tired. Little Katie was jumping on Amie?s bed and fell and gave herself a mighty whack on her hip but a sweety soon fixed that.

We left around 9.30 for the trek home with the kids in their jammies ready for bed on arrival at our own house.
