Music and Movement

Today my girl and I went to Perth for her to perform with her gymnastic team, The Destiny Display Team. They do a form of gymnastics called Sports Acro. It requires great strength, discipline, skill and involves lots of precarious balances. They are very good, but I am biased.
Here the girls, including my girl, are doing a round off backflip half turn hand spring . Technically this shot is poor, and I have much to learn, but I love the movement in it and the fact that the girls are so insync (a big part of good display). It also remind me of days spent at school gym in navy knickers listening to the radio.

Left the house before 9am, got home at 2pm for a quick pee and off out to see my boy in his Scottish Cup Tie. The opposition were so up for the challenge, and challenge they did, hard and fast. It was not the cleanest of games, and watching the opposition square up to our linesman with several expletives was quite something - aged 13. A draw, was the best we could do, so a replay in 2 weeks time away from home will test us. Cakes went down well, although I did managed to put a few in my pocket - crumb anyone?

A day spent in the car, here and there, taking pride in my little bundles, but not without the challenges of other family. More shade here today but hopefully some light will come soon.

I'm ready now for my weekly beer and a sleep - extra hour? I missed that when do I get it?
