Pressing matter

Went to AJ and Baz's in Somerset to do some apple pressing for cider. What a brilliant day and night we had. All five of the girls we took with us had a great time riding round the orchard in the trailer pulled by the lawn mower. There were dogs running round everywhere and the sun shone all day. AJ did a great ploughman's lunch with mulled cider and 'seventy sausages casserole' for supper.

Here Jacob and Baz are at work on the apple press. What can't be seen in the picture is the audience they had and the mahem going on in the orchard with kids, dogs and chickens. Also interesting was the amount of cider that had to be consumed during the process by operatives and audience.

Excellent weekend but the hangover wasn't so good.
