Revlon / CHOC Fun Walk

We took Paddington to Zoo Lake for a 4km Fun Walk this morning (Baloo is not 1 yr old yet, so he's not allowed to walk. He went to visit my folks for the morning, where he was spoilt rotten!). The walk was sponsored by Revlon, in aid of CHOC, an organisation for childhood cancer. Royal Canin sponsored the doggy water points again, where Paddington played in the tubs filled with balls and water, splashing and throwing balls around and generally having a great time!

It's been 3 months since we did 702 Walk the Talk and Paddington has become an absolute pleasure to walk. Gone are the days where I had to run to keep up with him and where he was forcefully pulling in his own direction, putting serious strain on my shoulders as I tried to hang on to him! Since we've taken him for clicker training, he has developed self confidence and control which he never had before. I think it helps that he knows exactly what's expected of him and it gives him a sense of achievement when he's rewarded for his awesome behaviour. Paddington is living proof of what can be achieved by positive reinforcement and patience...

He's such a happy, beautiful boy and I'm so proud of how far he's come:)
