party

it was our twelfth annual halloween party tonight and purely to freak out our friend gavin me and b dressed up as apes from planet of the apes. we went round to the local shop before the party, fully aped up...I was the ape standing in the corner laughing while b went to the till and paid. childish, but hilarious. when we lived in aberdeen pre-kids we all used to go out to the pub dressed up at halloween - and people's reaction are always surprising. they either completely ignore you or are a bit agressive towards you! the two shop workers here more or less ignored us! maybe it's just me, but cmon, that's funny! no?

the party was ace - hence the back-blip - and all the costumes were fantastic. I love the effort our friends put into their costumes and we mostly spend the whole night laughing and larking about in the kitchen and garden (which is a makeshift graveyard complete with smoke machine). there were a few photos I could have blipped - costumes included wagner from x factor, lemmy and evil kneivel to name a few but this one made me laugh the most...especially since b was ID'd at the till...
