October's Finale

We woke this morning in Morro Bay. After breakfast we slowly journeyed south stopping at numerous places along the way -- Los Olivos, Santa Barbara, Carpenteria, and brought today's journey to an end in Ventura.

This evening we're on the third floor of an ocean front motel facing the waves. This is the view from our room. We watched October's sun slip into the ocean with a silhoutte of the Channel Islands in view. We've had a terrific last day of October.

In the morning we're turn east and head toward home, but for this last night of October, we're going to let the sound of the waves lull us to sleep.

And then the best month of all arrives tomorrow. Woohoo!
