Les feuilles dans la vente

I couldn't resist the colours of the autumn leaves today. Took lots of blips of the leaves blowing in the light breeze waiting for the accident of how the camera would capture the motion. I went out late so the light was low and I had to use ISO 800. A little more grain than I wanted but it was fun trying to capture a painterly image of the lovely combination of colours, leaves and background.

I was also shooting using the telephoto of the Canon Powershot and wonder how much better this particular image might have been if I had used one a different lens. I might have to break down and get a digital SLR body so that I can use some other lenses I have for my old film SLR.
