Rhododendron with driftwood

I've been reading two books on the photography of Ansel Adams. Sick and stuck at home today, I had a crack at imitating Adams' black and white image 'Rose and Driftwood', taken in San Francisco in 1932.

I know, it's a pretty lame imitation, but I had some fun with it and learned a couple of things. The most challenging aspect was depth of field. 'Rose and Driftwood', like all Adams' photos, is completely crisp.
