Darkness falls..

and there's no blips, well, just this one.

I went to a photography workshop all day where I looked at the dials on my camera and some of the menus. I felt a little more confident as I put the camera back in my bag at the end of the day. I had a few things to attend to before setting out on homeward journey.
Nearing home I saw smoke billowing on a distant hill, stopped the car and got out with the camera which was now filled with so many possibilities. My mind froze as I looked at settings I'd played with a while ago and now had no idea what they all were.

I took just one photo with my head bowed in shame.
