Book Binding

I love Mondays. Mondays I volunteer with a group of teenage girls, building self esteem and confidence. This term we are working with a local art college. Today we learnt how to make a book, properly binding it and everything. Our book we started to make today will become a journal. The girls worked well today, they were engaged and focused. It was good to see.

I chose todays blip because it is part of the book binding process. I could of chosen a pic of some rather yummy sweets that were bought along, but really like the cotton reel, for me it represents the beginning of another new journey
