Urban Night Sky

1st November I decided was a good time to start my blipfoto journal. The clocks have gone back, a new month has started and there is a certain atmosphere of new beginnings in the air and the cosy anticipation of Christmastime has started to build.

Appropriate then I thought, to begin my journal with an urban night sky image symbolising the darker nights and the almost semi hibernation we descend into when we spend more nights at home snuggled in front of televisions or gone to bed early with a good book.

I used the sunset scene setting on my camera to enchance the redness of the sky which wasn't being represented in night mode. I think the red sky adds to the idea of cosiness inside houses.
